Switch
DraftFour switches, each with a coloured light above and a Braille digit below, plus ENTER. The colour order picks the rule set, the digits decide up or down.
First appears in level 16
How to recognise it
Four toggle switches in a row with a light above each one (red, green, blue and yellow, each once) and a Braille digit beneath each one, plus an ENTER button. The deaf player sees the lights; the blind player feels the switches and reads the digits but sees no colours.
Procedure
Read the four Braille digits left to right, tied to their positions: "one four, two three, three two, four six". Do not touch a switch until all four answers have arrived. Then set them, repeat the full row, and press ENTER last, exactly once.
Common mistakes
Pressing ENTER with any switch unresolved. The most common failure on this module.
Flipping switches one by one as answers trickle in. Collect all four, then set them.
Reading only one colour. The full order selects the table.
A bare "two" heard as switch two instead of digit two. Name the type every time.
