Privacy policy
What data this site processes, why, and what rights you have.
1. Controller
[Vorname Nachname], [Straße Hausnummer], [PLZ] [Ort], Deutschland. E-mail: [kontakt@example.com].
2. Hosting and server logs
This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you open a page, Vercel processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, the time, the page requested, browser type and country to deliver the site and fend off attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and a data processing agreement with standard contractual clauses is in place. Log data is deleted after a short period.
3. Audience measurement
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages are visited how often. The service sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses; visitors are counted from a hash of IP address and browser data that changes daily and cannot identify anyone beyond that day. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the site (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
4. Images
Screenshots are loaded from servers of Supabase Inc. (project hosted in Frankfurt, Germany). Supabase receives your IP address when an image loads. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting the content (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
5. Storage in your browser
Your chosen role and colour scheme are kept in your browser's local storage so they survive your next visit. This data never leaves your browser and is necessary for the function you asked for (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
6. Advertising with Google AdSense
This site shows ads through Google AdSense, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. To serve ads, Google processes data such as your IP address, device identifiers, the page you are on and, with your consent, cookies and similar identifiers, in order to select, deliver and measure ads.
Personalised ads and advertising cookies are used only after you have agreed in the consent banner (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). The banner is Google's certified consent solution under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Without consent, only non-personalised ads are shown where technically available. You can change or withdraw your decision at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Google may transfer data to the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Further information: Google's privacy policy, How Google uses data from partner sites, Ad settings.
While no ad network is active, the site shows labelled placeholder ads in the same positions without any data processing.
7. External links and GitHub
Links to Steam, GitHub, Discord and Reddit lead to third-party services with their own privacy terms. The edit links on content pages open the repository at GitHub Inc., where GitHub's terms apply.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for your place of residence.
9. Version
This policy applies from 2026-10-11. It will be updated when the site or the legal situation changes.
