Playing Mute
You hold the manual and hear everything, but the game disables your microphone. Your answers travel by gesture.
Checked with game version 1.1.0
You are the only player who can open the manual, and you hear both teammates. The game turns your microphone off for the whole round, so every answer has to leave you as something the deaf player can see.

What you can do
- Open and read the manual: a ring-bound notebook with one spread per module, a line drawing and a rule on the left, a lookup table on the right. It is translated into the game's fifteen languages.
- Hear the deaf player's descriptions and the blind player's questions.
- Gesture: the emote wheel, thumbs up and down, nodding, pointing, finger counts, thrown objects. The interact key can be bound to an emote.
What you cannot do
- Speak. The game disables the microphone for your role.
- Touch the bomb.
How to work
Your job is lookup and verdict. Wait for the full packet from the deaf player (module, then state), find the row, decide, and signal. Do not start signalling halfway through a packet: a half answer is worse than a late one.
Because the blind player hears you not at all and the deaf player only sees you, your fastest channel is yes/no on candidates: let the deaf player name options one at a time and nod at the right one. Finger counts cover positions 1 to 9; agree a sign for zero, for "wait" and for "read it again".
Working with the others
You hear the blind player perfectly. Use it: when they narrate their hands ("counting from the left, one, two, three"), you can catch a miscount before the cut and stop the deaf player from confirming with a quick "no".
